ReplyDeleteive only ever been close with one girl who was on smack. she was on other things too. her mother was a mental case. she got a restraining order against her.
ReplyDeleteanyway, i try not to get to close to her. its not just the drugs, shes insanely paranoid, and temperamental. i cant deal with it. the shit in her life is so intense i could never understand. my other friends just do tame things like the odd pill, weed, smoking, alcohol etc. id like to try acid one day so i can write a novel naked lunch style.
i got naked lunch sitting right next to me on my desk. it's a cool book. burroughs sure had a thing for washing gay butts though. mentions that stuff like every couple of pages.
ReplyDeletehaha, yeah, he liked the butts. i havent read it in a proper linear way though. ive read bits and pieces of it. that way each time i pick it up its feels dually familiar yet also surprising. and its nice to read the same gorgeous phrases.
